There is no real difference between the trucks in regards to driving performance. They are all good with the higher power engines and gearboxes. You can easily do 60T loads with a 6x4 strallis using 500+ Bhp no problem at all. The only real issue with the truck is that its old, and the interior has never been updated. You can see speed limiter setting here: In city: [ats] 45 mph Speed limiter setting / having WOTR contract: [ats] 65 mph Speed limiter forced by game server: [ats] 85 mph Default speed limiter: [ats] 100 mph Then you need to do both of the following: 1-) Disable the speed limiter in your ETS2/ATS settings (Book Here) the speed limiter should limit the speed a truck can achieve, like 90km/h in Europe, or 55mp/h in California and not adjust to the road you are on, this is what they need to change, state depended max. speed limits for trucks on highways and not lock the truck to the speed the street alowes please help is there any chance there a mod or some type of patch to show on the gps/route adviser the max speed because it gets confusing what the speed limit is on that piece of road there must be some way to see for example truck speed 60 then / then speed limit 70 and it looks like this: 60/70 mph on the gps please can anyone help????? Actually, the limiters on HGV's in the UK are set at 56mph, not 60mph. Also, in the UK the speed limits on single carriageways (A roads and B roads), are 40mph, dual carriageways are 50mph, and 60mph on motorways. Although there is a consultation going on at the moment to increase the single carriageway speed to 50mph. Re: Speed warning sound. Unfortunately you also have to have navigation turned on also for it to work. I like driving with navigation turned off so I guess I will go with no warning sounds also. Set by phpBB, used for the "remember me" option. Set by phpBB to identify user sessions. Set by phpBB to store the user ID. This isn't a racing game. By having the speed limiter off, you've eliminated the challenge. I think the delivery times are based off the truck speed limits. So in order to have a challenge, turn the speed limiter on, realistic fuel, driver fatigue, realistic air brakes, standard shifting. Cars drive like 40kmh over the legal speed limit (forexample if the speed limit is 100, they drive 140.) And trucks drive like 30kmh under their legal speed limit (forexample on the highway they drive 50kmh instead of 80kmh.) It is really annoying cuz i have to swap lanes every 10 seconds. And if YOU try to drive as fast as the cars, 140kmh, the car infront of you literally slams on the brakes UGR4.
